New Dancehall shows
Didn't get to post 6/20 last week due to having a life... but this week both 6/20 and 6/27 radio shows should be available shortly. Just curious, is anyone other than my wife and a few close friends listening to these? It does take a good couple of hours to prep 'em and upload 'em so I would like to know if I'm wasting my time here...

The number 43
Ok, father's day coming up. Today would have been my dad's 89th birthday. This song, 43 Candles, is another that did not make the cut for Divided House. Written around the same time last year, it was based on thoughts similar to those I'm having today, the ultimate weirdness of realizing I am the same age as my father was when I was conceived, and that if I manage to make it as long in the world as he, I am 64% done with this life. 43 Reasons not to waste any more time.

Hang on to yr hats folks, we're scraping off the rust on the MDID road machine for some ill-conceived travelin' action this late summer and fall... Details forthcoming, but at least Cleveland, Chapel Hill, and Chicago will see the Dad ride through before the leaves turn, as we consider playing only in cities starting with "C" this time around.
